Compare the ten casino hotels by building, rooms and view

This table puts the ten properties on the same page: what the sleeping building is, how many rooms are published or otherwise supported, what the window is likely to face, and how recent the hotel or renovation evidence is. It is a comparison for choosing a room, not a ranking of the casino floor.

How to read the table

The room-count column is deliberately fussy. A resort-published count is stronger than a tourism listing, directory, Wikipedia entry or press report. Where the resort does not publish a total, the table says so rather than polishing the gap. This matters because a building with a clear room inventory is easier to compare with another building that names its towers, suites and view categories.

“Towers/buildings” means the hotel structure in which a person sleeps. Storeys appear only where the facts support them with enough confidence. Caesars Windsor is unusually clear, with Forum Tower and Augustus Tower counts and years available by secondary sources; River Rock names a Hotel Tower and Casino Tower but does not publish storeys. Fallsview has a secondary-sourced tower height and floor count, but the resort’s own hotel pages do not publish the room total.

The “view type” column uses the hotel’s own room-category language where possible: Falls, Detroit skyline, Fraser River, lake, racetrack or city. Empty view language is not improved by adjectives. If a room page does not publish view categories, the table says that too. For a shorter editorial order, see the ranking; for the scoring weights behind it, see how we score.

What the table cannot show

A table can compare a named room category with another named room category, but it cannot guarantee the exact pane of glass. “Fallsview” can mean different falls, one falls, both falls, or city-plus-water depending on the tower and category. “Racetrack View” at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is a useful category name, but the resort’s pages do not provide a floor-by-floor sightline plan. At River Rock, “Panoramic View” belongs to upper suite categories in the Casino Tower, not to every room.

Nor can the table fully show interior condition. A renovation may be a hotel-room programme, a public-space refresh, a gaming-floor project, a pool closure or an atrium change. Casino Rama has secondary-supported refurbishment notes for rooms, spa, dining and common areas, but the official hotel pages were blocked during this pass. Cascades Langley has a 2018 Gateway renovation release for all 77 guestrooms and public spaces; that is useful, but it is not the same as a current room-by-room condition report.

Use this page as a first filter. If the decision turns on the window, move next to the best falls and river views. If the decision turns on the age of the building, compare the newest buildings. For individual caveats and official hotel links, use all ten profiles.
